The Air APX was designed with a high strength-to-weight ratio carbon shaft and a proprietary resin material in the blades. The advanced blade design incorporates the perfect amount of dihedral angle, promoting balance and efficiency in the water, while the strong carbon shaft has a warmer feel than aluminum, weighs less and will stand up better to saltwater usage. The Air APX features the new Kingpin Adjustment System with offset feathering increments of 15 degrees - the easiest and fastest adjusting incremental offset ferrule on the market. A left hand release button allows most paddlers to keep their control hand firmly gripped to the paddle shaft and only 1/8” of separation is required to adjust the offset. By design, the Kingpin Adjustment system actually tightens the fit of the ferrule, providing the feel of a one piece paddle.
