At a mere 8.9 lbs, Kokopelli's new 7.5 foot Nirvana SB Self-bailing PackRaft - part of the Whitewater Series - is an exceptional choice for paddlers needing lightweight, durable river-running options. The Nirvana self-bailer received a 'Best in Show' by the Gear Junkie at Outdoor Retailer in 2015.

This year's model features a narrower trim and more pronounced rocker, allowing more fluid carves when threading eddies and surfing holes.

Built to exacting specifications, the Nirvana sidewalls are constructed from a 210 denier, double-coated nylon, while the floor features a beefed-up 840 denier material. The two-chamber design provides greater safety than traditional one-chamber packrafts, while one-inch seam welds with reinforced tape ensure durability and the highest-quality, air-holding properties.

Eleven-inch diameter tubes ensure stability on the water as well as providing some protection from swells.

Six integrated nylon d-rings serve as convenient gear-tie downs while an additional 4 d-rings are positioned on the inner tube for optional (not included) thigh straps. An inflatable seat back provides support.

Accumulated water passes through 14 one-inch open ports, strategically placed around the bow and stern. An included 5-inch inflatable floor with side wells provides extra buoyancy and allows the paddler to sit higher, keeping out of the water. The open design also offers quick entry and exit when scouting rapids, and a higher paddling position to allow deeper and more efficient paddle strokes.

With the included inflation bag, the Nirvana Self-bailer can be ready for the water in less than five minutes.

The Nirvana Self-Bailer is perfect for rapid water environments through Class III and can easily be backpacked to remote locations, taken on camping trips, tossed on a plane or stashed in an RV.
