Description

Extend the paddling performance of your Innova Helios I and II inflatable kayaks.

The Innova Helios rudder improves the tracking performance of the Helios II when paddled tandem as a sea-touring kayak or when the boat is loaded near capacity. Constructed from a machined black UHMW composite, the corrosion-resistant aluminum rudder simply fits over the stern seam of the Helios and attaches in a couple of minutes with stainless steel hardware. The rudder is controlled with foot stirrups from the aft cockpit. The rudder can quickly disassembled and carried flat in the Helios packbag with the boat.

For use on the Helios I, longer control cords are needed, as the foot stirrups in the Helios I cockpit are further away from the rudder. These can be obtained from the manufacturer directly. Weight: 1 lb.-10 oz.
