Updated design for a wider range of sizes. Only 31 ozs - a lightweight, stiff, 3pc-breakdown carbon SUP paddle which can be adjusted from 70 to 86 inches!
The Accent MAX SUP Carbon is one of the stiffest and lightest portable SUP paddles on the market.
Designed to accommodate a wide range of paddler heights and water conditions, the Accent MAX SUP can be quickly adjusted from 70 to 86 inches, fitting the majority of paddling heights dependent on paddling activity. The MAX SUP design features a patented Leverlock system - simply snap up the handle lever and the paddle can be quickly lengthened or shortened in full increments.
The carbon-reinforced nylon blade has an eight degree bend with a slight curve, allowing for an aggressive "catch" at the beginning of the stroke. The dihedral blade design of the MAX SUP provides an easy "pull" through the water, while the light weight flex offers an easy exit from the water.
The ergonomic grip keeps the blade oriented during each stroke, while the carbon shaft has a warmer feel, is stiffer and lighter than fiberglass, and stands up better to salt water usage. And with the longest shaft length of 35.75 inches, it’s highly portable – great for inflatable SUPs.
Features include:
- Carbon twill shaft; carbon-reinforced nylon blades
- Blade size - 8.5 x 18 inches (100 sq. inches)
- Easy one-hand on-the-fly adjustability
- Paddle length - 70 to 86 inches, fully adjustable with Leverlock
- Ergonomic grip fits most hand sizes
- Longest shaft length - 35.75 inches

This paddle came with my Red Paddle co. Board which made it even better for me. First impression was I didn't have to pay for it so I guess it will work but now it is my go to blade. It moves flutterless through the water with plenty of bite for moving the board and it is not that heavy. The only thing I don't like is when I apply a lot of power it does flex a lot and the exit phase is a little noisy with the spine on the back of the blade. For the price though this blade cannot be touched.
