The new Red Air 10'8 Activ with thicker 150mm dropstitch material! Based on the Red Air 10-8 Ride, the Activ 10-8 is one of the most stable inflatable SUP boards ever produced, eliminating stability problems during fitness workouts. A reduced width of 34 inches and the wide tail create an unbelievably stable platform perfect for stretching exercises - yet still feels lively and responsive as a standup paddle board. While some inflatable boards flex uncontrollably in the water, Red Air's 16-22 PSI super-stiff, double layer construction holds firm and allows you to travel with confidence.

The material thickness has been increased to 150mm - the perfect combination of stiffness and control for all round shapes - producing the stiffest boards for this size. The increased thickness is more rigid than a 100mm board at the same pressure, meaning a rider can obtain greater stiffness at lower pressure without affecting the ride and performance - or stiffer performance at higher pressure - while still maintaining a low center of gravity.

The Activ Ten Eight has been specially designed for on-board comfort. The full yoga pad on the deck means you can find your perfect balance without fear of slipping and the tail mounted paddle retention straps mean you can secure your paddle while you workout with no fear of it floating away. Families will also discover the Red Air 10'8 Activ is perfect for paddling two-up with youngsters or even the dog on-board! Good for cruising, fitness workouts, using as a tender, small wave surfing, fishing, exploring - a great all around board!

New for 2016! All Red Paddle Co models are now constructed using Monocoque Structural Laminate (MSL) fusion technology. This innovative new process involves fusing a second layer of polymer to the drop-stitch material in the raw material stage. The end result is a higher-quality, high-pressure material utilizing less glue; this reduces the weight of each board up to 20% while increasing the tension and making the boards slightly more rigid.

Precise fin placement and rocker lines also turn Red Paddle Co. boards from being ordinary into something that you want to ride again and again.
