The name says it all! Featuring a progressive surfing outline, the Red Paddle Co Whip 8'10" offers the best surfing performance Red Paddle Co. has ever produced. Stable, yet maneuverable, the Red Paddle Co Whip 8'10" is the only choice for those looking for the ultimate travel surf SUP board.

With the wide point further forward, the Whip 8'10" performs well in smaller surf while the narrow tail holds the board in steeper sections and allows for faster direction changes on the wave face. The board shape works in conjunction with the 100mm dropstitch material, allowing riders better control and feel on moving water.

The new Rocker Stiffening System (RSS) was designed to increase rigidity - it works by inserting stiffening strips (rockers) along the rails of the board. This works against the downward force of the rider, producing a stiffer board - up to 50% stiffer than boards with comparable thickness. Due to the Whip 8'10" shorter length, the RSS Rocker Stiffening System works incredibly well to give the Surf Star unrivalled stiffness over other boards. The rockers are removable for easy board rolling, and can be stored in the carry bag.

While some inflatable boards flex uncontrollably in the water, Red Air's 15-25 PSI super-stiff, double layer construction holds firm and allows you to travel with confidence.

New for 2016! All Red Paddle Co models are now constructed using Monocoque Structural Laminate (MSL) fusion technology. This innovative new process involves fusing a second layer of polymer to the drop-stitch material in the raw material stage. The end result is a higher-quality, high-pressure material utilizing less glue; this reduces the weight of each board up to 20% while increasing the tension and making the boards slightly more rigid.

Precise fin placement and rocker lines also turn Red Paddle Co. boards from being ordinary into something that you want to ride again and again.
