A compact, portable and easy-to-setup down-wind sail that rapidly deploys and quickly stows flat on the deck of your kayak!
The sail shape is specially designed to conform to kayak decks, and uses a built-in non-corroding "spring" frame that gives the Rapidup the ability to "spring" open.
Made of high quality, durable rip-stop sail cloth, the sail has adjustable attachments, quick connecting lanyards, d-rings and a carabiner for easy attachment to multiple deck configurations. For safety, the Rapidup Sail has a main dousing line and a large central window, along with two side windows, for clear visibility. When not out on the water, the RapidUp sail easily folds into a flat disk shape, and stows away nicely in a bag (included).
So, the next time you are out paddling with a good tail wind, flip up the Rapidup and get that extra push to your destination.

I've had this Advanced Elements Rapidup Sail for about a year now. I've used it on rivers, salt water inlets, and the Intracoastal Waterway. It performs very well, costs much less than comparable sails from other manufacturers, and fits nearly all of my 7 kayaks. It even fits my composite yaks with bungees forward of the cockpit. Easy to raise and lower from the cockpit, though it will dip into the water when closing at times so it's best to close it when you are stationary. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it is strictly a downwind sail.
