The Mistral Carbon Composite adjustable 3pc SUP paddle offers great overall performance at an affordable price. The new 2015 model has an upgraded polypropylene blade design which is "less damaging" to board rails than stiffer materials. The shaft is made of a carbon - fiberglass composite material, creating a paddle that is still lightweight yet strong, providing superior performance. The upper shaft features a non-glossy coating for better grip while the ergonomic t-handle makes sure you're always holding the blade correctly.

All adjustable paddles from Mistral are equipped with a novel connector which operates via a twin-screw system. The attached lever transfers the maximum clamping force directly onto the inserted part, so that a very tight fit between insertion and shaft is achieved. An additional push pin provides a double security system, making sure your paddle stays in one piece while on the water. The paddle features infinite adjustment from 66.9 to 85.8 inches, making it a great choice for families or multiple paddlers.

The dihedral blade features a slightly raised ridge originating at the neck of the blade, gently leveling off toward the mid-section. During the paddle stroke, this encourages water to exit the edges evenly, so it remains ‘balanced’ unlike flat paddles, which can have a tendency to oscillate (flutter) left and right.
