The Astral Buoyancy V-Eight combines the new AirEscape technology with an ergonomic design, quick drying and durable Ripstop shell, and ample pocket space for your next water outing.

The new AirEscape technology is a revolutionary design in PFDs. Most life vests create a nonbreathable barrier against skin. The AirEscape breathable technology utilizes vent ports on the front and back, as well as a polyester mesh liner next to the body, which allow trapped heat to escape and fresh air to enter. This works in conjunction with an egg-crate style EVA contoured foam which reduces body-to-PFD contact by 70%, further allowing air to circulate. By eliminating this excessive buildup of heat and perspiration, a paddler can maintain a comfortable core temperature, even in hot and humid conditions.
