Now in stock! A special run of the popular Sport model in green - limited supplies! Lightweight and more open version of the popular AdvancedFrame kayak. 

The Sport is a lightweight and compact version of the popular AdvancedFrame kayak. It "sports" a large cockpit opening for easy entry and exit. The proven aluminum ribs in the bow and stern provide increased paddling performance in this sporty new design!

Bonus! Includes free AE2009 Advanced Elements double action hand pump!

The built-in ribs are made of high grade aluminum, allowing the bow to slice through water like a knife. The stern acts as a skeg, which increases the tracking performance. When the chambers inflate, these ribs are pressed against the outer cover and form a high performance bow and stern which rival the tracking of a hard-shell day touring kayak yet still folds up compactly!

The kayak is manufactured from extremely durable materials and high-end components. There is plenty of on-board storage space behind the seat and on the decks. It sets up in just a few minutes, and is compact enough to take along for an adventure anywhere. The kayak's durable double-coated fabric, heavy-duty PVC and electronically welded seams can take bumps, scrapes and rough water.

    Great kayak. Easy to setup. Seemed to go to the right a little when on the water, but that could also be attributed to my inexperience kayaking! I might try the backbone and see what difference it makes. Regardless it's totally worth the money.

    Airkayaks Note: Thanks for the feedback Mike! Couple of things. Check to make sure your fin is not bent (this straightens out with a little heat). Also make sure the bladder is centered inside the cover. It is a great kayak!

    Wife and I just received ours and with no experience in inflatable boats, it took us 10mins to fully inflate and set up. Took just a little more time to deflate, Dry, clean and stow. They paddle quite easily and track nice and straight. We had just come from using solid kayaks and were quite surprised how easy the Advanced Elements paddles and found them to actually be more comfy on the bum due to the inflated floor you sit on.

    We enjoy kayaking but live in a condo and don't have roof racks or such so being in a small storage bag and easy to transport was very important.

    Would def recommend to anyone looking for an easy to set up and small to transport kayak that paddles around just as well as a comparably priced hard kayak.
