I own 2 Advanced Frame Convertibles, one Advanced Frame Single and my last purchase was the Expedition. The Convertibles were for the family, the Advance Frame single was for the kids to paddle single and a play boat and the Expedition was for me. The closest your going to get to a rigid touring boat in an inflatable hull. I use the back bone with it and it tracks straight, paddles easy, no issues with room and storage on board. It is a touring boat for short shoreline paddles or multi day trips, no issues with wind or waves and on the great lakes we get both. Very happy with performance and the long zippers front and rear make cleaning out and drying much easier. Very happy with boat.

The expedition arrived, earlier this morning! Very nicely packaged and everything arrived in good shape. It really is a beautiful little boat and very well built. I paddled around the marina and then poked my nose out into the Georgia Strait, close to the shore and paddled about a quarter of a mile upwind, against a wind strength of about ten knots. The boat tracked well and was easy to paddle. At no time, did I feel uncomfortable about the stability of the boat, even with the chop on the beam. I was and am very impressed with the boat and am really looking forward to getting out again and for longer excursions. My overall impression of the boat is, that it is very well made, with great stability , tracking and maneuverability. I have absolutely no problem recommending this kayak to a friend! I have already had a few friends asking to try it when the weather improves. I am REALLY HAPPY with the boat!
