The Kauai CBX was designed with a larger blade surface that makes a powerful face against the stronger waves encountered while touring. An advanced dihedral blade designs offers smooth, efficient and powerful strokes, making propelling and maneuvering easier, while the Kauai CBX's increased paddle thrust makes for added power on the water. The strong carbon shaft has a warmer feel than aluminum, weighs less and will stand up better to saltwater usage. The Kauai CBX features the new Kingpin Adjustment System with offset feathering increments of 15 degrees - the easiest and fastest adjusting incremental offset ferrule on the market. A left hand release button allows most paddlers to keep their control hand firmly gripped to the paddle shaft and only 1/8” of separation is required to adjust the offset. By design, the Kingpin Adjustment system actually tightens the fit of the ferrule, providing the feel of a one piece paddle.
