Introduced in mid-2013 as a limited edition model, the Red Air Elite 14'0 RSS was an instant success. The Elite's 14' length ensures the ultimate glide and speed. Weight is saved on the new Red Air Elite Fourteen Zero by placing deck grip in only the most essential areas, while the rocker line is designed to give a fast glide and ride.

This board is not for the feint hearted or inexperienced, as the 26" width makes this an ultimate board for pure racers looking for the best performance, giving them the ability to rock up and race anywhere in the world with minimum fuss.

The Elite 14'0 utilizes a low profile US box fin system. This allows you to put in your favourite flat water fin, but it comes supplied with a glass fin designed for straight-line control - just the right amount of grip without adding drag. A single nose fin also provides enhanced tracking.

The new Rocker Stiffening System (RSS) was designed to increase rigidity - it works by inserting stiffening strips (battens) along the rails of the board. This works against the downward force of the rider, producing a stiffer board. The battens are removable for easy board rolling, and can be stored in the carry bag. While some inflatable boards flex uncontrollably in the water, Red Air's 15-25 PSI super-stiff, double layer construction holds firm and allows you to travel with confidence.

The material thickness has been increased from standard 100mm to a whopping 150mm. The increased thickness is super-buoyant and 50% stiffer than a 100mm board at the same pressure, meaning a rider can obtain greater stiffness at lower pressure without affecting the ride and performance - or stiffer performance at higher pressure. This thickness is also perfect for non-surfing, flat water paddling as the board floats high to reduce drag in racing conditions.

WIth the added RSS rocker stiffening system, the Elite Fourteen Zero becomes one of the stiffest boards of this size ever produced.

Fin placement and rocker lines are other key ingredient that turn Red Paddle Co. boards from being ordinary into something that you want to ride again and again.

The Red Elite 14'0 maintains a competitive edge at race events, not just in the inflatable class but in the main board class as well.  At the recent Battle of the Thames event in London, the Elite 14-0 finished first in the inflatable classes, first in the 14' classes, and 13th overall in a field of 100, proving it can compete against full carbon race boards.
