Aquaglide's new 16 ft. Aquaglide Blackfoot Angler 160 HB inflatable kayak is a tandem fishing kayak with a focus on comfort. Yet it's also perfect for one angler needing plenty of room for gear. Designed with extra width for stability, the inflatable Blackfoot fishing kayak is constructed from a commercial grade, smooth-skin Duratex hull material which dries quickly.
The "Hard Bottom (HB)" 6 to 12 PSI high-pressure drop-stitch floor provides rigidity for "standup-ability" which - when coupled with a streamlined silhouette and removable tracking fin - enhances the paddling performance. Paddlers will find the Blackfoot 160 HB - with its longer waterline and piercing bow - provides great tracking and glide, allowing one to cover long distances.
Front and rear spray guards are positioned to keep paddlers dry, each with ample bungee deck lacing for attaching gear.
The Aquaglide Blackfoot Angler 160 HB hard bottom inflatable kayak features multiple integrated mounting plates placed strategically around the kayak, for adding accessories (not included). Plentiful tie-downs provide stowage for dry bags and gear. A removable fishing cooler with four rod holders and pockets is also included.
Paddling comfort is enhanced with the new Aquaglide Frame Seats with high or low seating positions. The high setting offers better visibility and makes it easier to cast standing up, while the low position offers better stability in rough or moving water. Breathable fabric keeps you cool, while the adjustable high backrest provides solid back support. A storage shelf under each seat is perfect for tackle boxes and easy access to gear. The Frame seats can also be removed and used on land as a beach chair.
Numerous webbing loops on the floor allow multiple seat anchor positions as well as attachment points for gear.
Also new this year: The Blackfoot now comes with the River Crossing backpack featuring a full zipper, mesh side panels, padded and adjustable shoulder straps and a stowaway pocket. An exterior pocket can house a paddle.
Side tube molly plates and a universal floor mount can be customized to mount optional gear bags and cases for multi-tools, first aid kits, radios, phones, cameras and Aquaglide's new cup holder.
