It is small enough to be taken into remote locations that are otherwise unreachable with a hard-shell kayak - perfect for back-country fun!

- Five chamber main design: two main chambers, floor and two buoyancy chambers
- Main chambers give stability and forgiveness with sharper beveled chines
- High-end main chamber valves that can be purged on the go (essential during long trips when the chambers expand due to warm afternoon air)
- Less drag due to the tri-hull system for quicker response and performance
- Floor chamber incorporates Stearns patented Techtour design, featuring a shallow arch hull and a flat top surface for a dramatically more rigid hull with excellent paddling characteristics
- Fully covered front buoyancy chamber gives added flotation and acts as a foot brace. Rear buoyancy chamber also acts as a dry bag. A mini-Boston valve inflates each and has a strapping system anchored at four points to keep them connected to the kayak in rougher water
- Blunt nose design adds flotation when bow ro stern is swamped and also gives a "bumper" zone against unexpected obstacles
- Improved self-bailing design allows for faster drainage
- More rocker keeps the kayak above the oncoming waves and improves maneuverability
